Message I don't know what happened but it was solved with a new installation (another Subclipse version).

Message I had the exact same error message before - in my case it was caused
by CSA (cisco security agent?) on tdeciding it wanted to kill the
connection for some reason. You may have similar firewall software
that is making per application decisions

Message I am the person who controlls the server, not the network.
Do you think it may be a problem with the protocol or the port used? I know the port 3690 is open but maybe I need more...

Thanks,

Message I think the problem is with Tortoise because with Subversion plugin for Eclipse everything works properly.
With Tortoise, we can commit but nor update neither checkout.

We use svnserver method.

We have used subversion with a Windows server before (without any problems) but it is the first time with a Linux server.

Thanks,

Susana

Talk to your network administrator and/or the server administrator.

Can users checkout files if they do not use Tortoise?

What method do you use to connect: svnserve, svn+ssh, HTTP?

Have you successfully used the server before, or is everything new?

Erik

Message Hello,

I have a subversion server installed in my linux machine.

I am trying to use the Tortoise cliente from my computer with Windows. I can connect to the repository, download and upload documents to the repository but when I try to checkout from the server or modify a document (and commit it to the server) the connection "Network connection closed unexpectedly".

Any help? Thanks in advance,

Susana
