The function is available for non-HEAD revisions in the nightly builds,
but not in the 1.5.x branch.

Message I suppose 'break lock' is only available in the Head revision. In the Head revision the file is deleted, so I have to go back to the revision before the deletion of the file. For the old revision the function is not available.

Use the repo browser and 'break lock' from the context menu.

Undo the deletion of a file, which was locked before deletion

Message Hello,

I used the function “Revert changes from revision” to undo the deletion of a file. When I try to commit the changes the following error message appears:

Error Message: Server sent unexpected return value (423 Locked) in response to COPY request

This happens only when the file was locked before the deletion and the commit was made with option “Keep locks”

Workaround: An administrator can release the lock with svnadmin rmlocks. Is there another way to release the lock in TortoiseSVN?

Thanks,
Christina Mayer
