We're proud to announce that TortoiseSVN 1.7 has been released.
It is linked against Subversion 1.7.0.

It's been two and a half year, 935 days to be exact since version 1.6 was released. The TortoiseSVN repository counts 6213 commits since then, which results in about 6 commits per day.
With that many changes done to TortoiseSVN alone, and much more to the Subversion core itself you can expect a lot of improvements. We've listed the most obvious and visible improvements in the release notes.

Please read those _thoroughly_ before you upgrade to TortoiseSVN 1.7 to avoid any surprises.
Together with TortoiseSVN 1.7, we also released new versions of CommitMonitor and SVNProtocolHandler.

This is a security release, addressing the issue described at http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=2009-2411.

We're proud to announce the release of TortoiseSVN 1.5.0, linked against Subversion 1.5.0.

It's been almost two years (645 days to be exact) since we released the last major version 1.4.0, and 5815 changes have been committed since then, which adds up to about 9 commits a day. That means we've been really busy working hard on TortoiseSVN. It also means there are a lot of improvements and new features in 1.5.0 waiting for you.

This version is still linked against the Subversion library 1.4.6 and contains some bugfixes when exporting and the status cache.

This version also contains the bugfix for exporting on Vista (see http://tortoisesvn.net/vistaproblems for details).
Note: due to this bugfix, the translations now show three strings still in English in the progress dialog when exporting.

TortoiseSVN 1.4.2 released

It's been almost a year since version 1.3.0 came out, and during that time we have been very busy working on version 1.4.0. And now, we have released TortoiseSVN 1.4.0.
The whole user interface of TortoiseSVN got improvements, and there also are a lot of improvements under the hood. The major changes are all mentioned in our release notes, make sure you read them.

This was due to a change in the compiler wich made the time_t type 64-bit instead of 32-bit as the official Subversion client uses. TortoiseSVN 1.1.0 just got released. There are a lot of new features and of course some bugfixes since the last stable release (1.0.8).
So what's new:

- A separate viewer for blames

- On Win2k and XP, the authentication data is now stored encrypted (note: the command line client still stores auth data unencrypted)
